# Privacy Policy — Tudi Short Drama (com.tudi.shortdrama)

## 1. Who we are
Tudi Short Drama is operated by **Hangzhou Tudi Technology (杭州途地科技)**. Contact: `[email protected]`.

## 2. What data we process
- **On-device anonymous ID**: randomly generated, not hardware ID.
- **Watch progress & favorites**: `dramaId, episodeId, positionMs, completed, lastWatchedAt` stored locally via Proto DataStore (max 500 entries). No account required in M1.
- **App diagnostics (optional, off by default)**: if enabled later, only fields listed in PRD 5.1 (anonymousUserId, sessionId, dramaId, episodeId, episodeNumber, positionMs, networkType, appVersion, language, timestamp). Location, contacts, and ad IDs are **not** collected.
- **Network only**: Content catalog and playback URLs fetched from `https://short.modmenux.com` over HTTPS.

## 3. Permissions
`INTERNET` and `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` only. No location, contacts, camera, or microphone. No advertising SDK, no `AD_ID`.

## 4. How we use data
To provide discovery, playback, and continue-watching. Local history powers “Continue Watching” on Home. No profiling for ads in M1.

## 5. Sharing & retention
- No sharing with third parties.
- Local history stays on device until you clear app data or remove entries. Uninstall removes it (known limitation in M1, no account sync).
- If remote analytics is enabled in a future release, we will disclose fields, purpose, retention, and deletion mechanism before enabling.

## 6. Security
HTTPS in transit. No video files stored permanently; temporary playback URLs are not treated as permanent business data.

## 7. Your choices
Clear app data to erase local history & favorites. Use system Settings to revoke network access (app will show offline state).

## 8. Children
Content includes drama themes (romance/revenge). Use Play content rating and parental controls. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data beyond the local anonymous ID.

## 9. Changes
We will update this policy and the Play Data safety form when features or data practices change.
